How long have you been practicing massage therapy/wellness, and what led you to choose this particular clinic?

I have been a massage therapist for 7 years now. I first got into massage as a stepping stone to the medical field, but I fell in love with the good I could do as an RMT and the more personal attention I can give each and every client.Â

What do you enjoy doing outside of work, and how do you stay healthy and balanced in your own life?
​
I enjoy playing sports, both soccer and volleyball are my favorites. But my quieter/ more mindful hobbies include gardening, crocheting, drawing and embroidery.Â

Who usually comes to see you/ what are they often looking for?
​
I have a range of clientele, I enjoy working with infants and young children to assist them in reaching their individual milestones. As well as athletes, both in injury rehabilitation and maintaining healthy working bodies. But I also enjoy working with the everyday person looking to improve their overall physical and mental health or solving any surprise or recurring pain complaints that come up.Â

What is the most rewarding part of your job, and what keeps you motivated to continue practicing massage therapy/wellness?
​
My favorite part of massage is seeing both the immediate and progressive relief and improvement of each client after every treatment.Â

What is the most rewarding part of your job, and what keeps you motivated to continue practicing massage therapy/wellness?
I try to keep up to date on new/new to me treatments by keeping in touch with previous classmates and coworkers and getting to know their favorite and most effective types of treatments. I also try and research new courses and workshops that I find interesting and that could be beneficial to my clients.Â

What is your favorite way to move your body?
My favorite ways to move my body are through soccer and volleyball. I have been playing soccer for over 20 years and coaching for almost 10. Volleyball is newer only playing about 15 years, but I love the challenge of continuing to improve to keep up with the level of competition.Â
